Bees are still in the hive. It is a hot day, the hive is shaded, no bearding but some forage activity.

The hive is exposed to full sun in the afternoon of a hot day. Bees are clustering around the hive entrance. Bees also ventilate on the outer wall of the hive.

I did a temperature survey during last hot week (up to 36 °C outside). If not otherwise stated, temperature readings are from the INTERIOR of the hive. A natural medium-sized swarm has been put into this hive.
The hive has been screwed to the tree hive stand as one of the original bolts turned out to be to short.
