I detached the empty hive, as there are no more swarms to expect this year.
There were some kind of garbage and small animals underneath the metal roof, especially on the tree side.

Hive 05 has been ignored by a swarm resting just 5 meters away.

Bees are clustering outside the fully shaded hive in the late afternoon of a hot day at 36 °C.
Two days earlier at 40 °C, there were much more bees clustering outside the hive and even on the stem (no photos).

Up to 3 Asian hornets are chasing bees at the same time next to the hive entrance.

I observed arrival times of honets (Vespa Velutina) in front of hive 05 from 11:30 to 15:31.Each honet succesfully catched a bee within seconds.
Only once i observed more than one single hornet at a time in front of the hive.

I counted 29 arrivals during 4 hours of observation.
On average, a hornet catched a bee every 9 minutes during the time of observation.
Intervals of time between the arrival of two hornets (i.e. predation pressure) varied from 3 to 21 minutes. Two times, predation slowed down temporarily (see graphic).

Forage activity of bees was not interrupted by the presence of hornets (see video).
Bees did not cluster outside the hive, but some bees were in the entrance whole.
